What I do

I am currently a Machine Learning Engineer at Meta. In the last year I worked on recommendations systems — specifically modeling for the recommendation system behind Facebook Feed. Now I work in the Applied AI org on data creation for our next SOTA model, specifically creating ML-specific tasks. Previously I worked on creating cloud engineering tools for the automation center of excellence at American Family Insurance. I am passionate about deep learning and applying it to interesting projects as seen in my portfolio. Below is a quick overview of the main technologies I use.

Python

I have 6 years of experience coding in python. Using pytorch, tensorflow, scikit, numpy, pandas, django, fastapi, and more. Coding in a notebook style in Colab and in an object oriented style in Visual Code.

C Languages

I have 6 years of experience coding in all C languages, focusing lately more on C#. I have worked with Blazor, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework, Selenium, and much more.

Machine Learning

I have experience with deep learning architectures such as CNNs, RNNs, and Transformers — from CNN/RNN era to large-scale recommendation and LLM work. At Meta I work with large-scale training and evaluation, plus internal ML platforms and data creation pipelines for SOTA models. Creating custom models and fine tuning pretrained models with TensorFlow, TFJS, PyTorch and ML.NET for NLP, Computer Vision, Recommendations, Reinforcement Learning and more.

Cloud

I have experience working in AWS using SageMaker, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, API Gateway, and more, plus GCP and Elastic Cloud. At Meta I also work with internal infra and ML tooling for large-scale training and data generation.
